Boss

MC Frontalot has a new album coming out. I’m not too crazy about the music, but Scott Campbell’s artwork for the CD package looks delicious.

Look, I know, I’m supposed to love the music because it’s about geeks. Geek power, right? I should probably also still be rocking out to those They Might Be Giants records that I loved so much when I was seventeen. The problem? I’m not seventeen anymore. And, while my geek cred runs pretty deep, I’ll take a little hit of Beastie Boys over MC Frontalot any day. Intergalactic, anyone?

Well, unless we’re talking about MC Frontalot’s live performance with Jess Klein, Soda Water. If Frontalot could put together a whole album that rivaled that single recording, I’d pay a million dollars for it.*
